Krenz named Richmond branch manager

OTTUMWA — Community 1st Credit Union is pleased to announce Wes Krenz has been named Richmond Avenue branch manager.

Krenz will oversee the credit union's Ottumwa south location after managing the Pennsylvania Avenue branch on the city's north side for three years.

"Wes has become a valuable member of the C1st team in his position at Penn," said Teri Ortgies, director of branch operations at Community 1st Credit Union. "That experience will be a great asset for us at the Richmond branch."

Prior to his years at Penn, Krenz also managed C1st's Venture branch and worked at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in Des Moines. He earned an associate degree from Indian Hills Community College and currently attends Buena Vista University in Ottumwa.

His outside interests include playing in a band, music sound engineering, fishing and rooting for Hawkeye sports teams.

"I'm excited about the opportunity and starting a new chapter at the credit union," said Krenz.

The Bloomfield native resides in his hometown with his wife Sarah.

Community 1st Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative with more than $475 million in assets. The credit union, established in 1936, serves more than 50,000 members.
