OTTUMWA — Community 1st Credit Union mortgage originators Christy Grove and Peggy Umlauf were awarded President's Circle status by the Iowa Mortgage Association during the group's spring conference in Coralville Wednesday.
Grove and Umlauf qualified for the honor with more than $20 million or 130 units in residential loan volume in 2013. Grove works from the C1st branch in Ottumwa on Pennsylvania Avenue and the Albia branch. Umlauf is located at the Ottumwa Richmond Avenue branch.
"Christy and Peggy have shown their dedication to our members with their mortgage originator production," said C1st Director of Mortgage Lending Laura Kay Sheely. "They are strong advocates for area homeowners, and we're proud to have them on the Community 1st team."
Grove has worked for Community 1st Credit Union for seven years. She and her family reside in Blakesburg. Umlauf has more than 10 years of experience at the credit union and resides in rural Ottumwa with her family.
