Vegas Night tickets now available

---- — ALBIA — The Monroe County Health Care Foundation and the Monroe County Hospital & Clinics are putting the final touches on plans for the Fourth Annual Vegas Night.

Vegas Night is scheduled for Oct. 12 at the Albia Country Club beginning at 6 p.m. Casual attire is recommended. Attendees will play Vegas-style games, enjoy great entertainment, good friends and good food with a live auction to conclude the night.

Tickets are $25 each and are available to the public now. Call Dawn Maughan at the Foundation Office at MCHC at 641-932-1689 or obtain them through a Foundation Board Member or at First Iowa State Bank or Peoples State Bank in Albia.

For the third consecutive year, the Adel Kiwanis will be facilitating the gaming. Adel Kiwanis is a nonprofit group located in Adel. The club is over 25 years old and raises funds to support all types of child-related needs. All of the monies raised from the casino games goes back into the community of Adel to support such things as the Adel Library, sending children to Wildwood Camp, supporting the booster clubs at the school, supporting a book bag reading program at the middle school, supporting the Dallas County Shop with a Cop program, American Cancer Society Relay for Life, any child and or family that comes to our club requesting help for basic needs and helping to stock the local food pantry. All of the members are volunteers.
