---- — OTTUMWA — Chelgren Enterprises, owner of Frog Legs, Incorporated and Fizzix Manufacturing, announces they are expanding operations located at the Ottumwa Industrial Airport with a ribbon cutting from 11: 30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Lunch and cake will be served and tours of the facility, located at 14470 Terminal Ave.
Frog Legs, Inc. is a leading disability product design company for the Durable Medical Equipment (DME) industry. Fizzix Manufacturing is a CNC machine shop and urethane manufacturer. Chelgren will be serving free lunch /cake and conducting tours of their facility at 14470 Terminal Avenue.
Mark Chelgren and his wife Janet, who is a native of Ottumwa, started Frog Legs in 1996. Chelgren has designed and patented a number of components to help improve wheelchair mobility and are sold to countries all around the globe. Mark and Janet relocated their business to the Ottumwa Airport eight years ago. Chelgren Enterprises employs 14 full-time individuals. The expansion includes the addition of a 30,000-square-foot facility, new machines and will result in the addition of two more jobs.
