BLOOMFIELD — A judge has issued an arrest warrant for the Bloomfield man accused of abusing a teenage boy while keeping him prisoner in his home.
Kenneth Wayne Turner, 54, is charged with seven counts of third degree sexual abuse and additional charges of administration of a harmful substance and assault causing bodily injury. Prosecutors say he took a teenage boy to his home on Sept. 24, then drugged, beat and sexually abused the teen until his escape three days later.
Turner was initially freed on bond, but accusations he stalked the alleged victim, including repeatedly driving past the juvenile shelter where he was staying, led Judge Annette Scieszinski to issue a bench warrant for Turner's arrest.
Turner's original, $1,000 bond was also raised to $100,000.
