CENTERVILLE — The Centerville City Council tonight at City Hall will hear the second reading of an ordinance amending the way the city deals with rental permits and associated fees.
The council voted to approve the first reading of the ordinance that amends the city’s code dealing with rental permits ad fees during a special meeting on June 25.
The council will consider a grant agreement with the United States Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration to install a perimeter fence at the Centerville Municipal Airport. The grant agreement calls for the FAA to pay 90 percent of the allowable costs incurred to install the fence up to the maximum amount of $113,718 for “airport development or noise program implementation.”
