---- — FAIRFIELD — A woman killed in a train accident has been identified.

Fairfield Police say Serenity Stone, 29, of 503 N. Court, Fairfield, was walking along the tracks at the time of the accident.

Police Chief Julie Harvey said in a press release that the accident had nothing to do with the Quiet Zone program.

She also reminded residents that those railroad tracks and the property right next to them are private property, owned by the railroads. Except for the designated crossings, no one is allowed on or right next to the tracks. People violating that rule may be charged with trespassing.

During the investigation, Harvey wrote, a "very discouraging issue" came up: Kids and "independent news reporters" tried to sneak into the area to take pictures.

"An investigation of this nature takes time and must be conducted thoroughly and in a certain order," Harvey wrote.
