Crash kills motorcyclist in Keokuk County

SIGOURNEY — A Keokuk County man is dead after a motorcycle crash in the early morning hours Thursday.

The Iowa State Patrol says Tucker William Morrison, 25, North English, died after his motorcycle crashed on a curve. The patrol's report says an Iowa County deputy attempted to stop Morrison for speeding. The motorcycle “accelerated away from the deputy,” before hitting the the curve and loose gravel. The motorcycle flipped and threw Morrison.

Morrison died at the scene.
