Etcetera: Courier goes to Disney World By JUDY KRIEGER, Courier EditorAnd he did, and he was right. The mulberries are so sweet.
My question to you all is, what do I do with them? I scanned a few of my recipe books and couldn’t find any recipe with mulberries in them, except for some wine which I don’t want to make. Can I make a blackberry pie using mulberries? All I remember about mulberries is that there was a bush at my friends’ house when I was little and the berries fell on the tin roof of a shed which we used to slide down. You know, I wondered why that “lilac” bush hadn’t been blooming! q q q And leave it to Jeff to remember my 43 years at the Courier. I didn’t! I have a lovely bouquet of white daisies and yellow mums on my desk. Love the vase — a little blue car. The anniversary was June 20. You know my saying, 43 down — 7 to go. Like to keep everyone guessing! ***
