Bulldog Cafe to serve meals Friday and May 7
OTTUMWA — The Ottumwa High School Bulldog Café will serve lunch on Friday. The cafe, located outside room 212, will serve lunch at 11 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and noon. The menu will include baked chicken breast or veggie/bean burgers, mashed potatoes, gravy, bread roll, California vegetables, horchata (a Mexican drink made with rice, milk, vanilla and cinnamon), strawberry-covered chocolate cake and a beverage.
Meanwhile, the Bulldog Café also will serve lunch on May 7. This is a make-up from one of the previous snow days. The café will serve lunch at 11 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and noon. The menu will include spaghetti verde or flautas d’pollo, salad, chocolate Oreo pudding and a beverage.
Each meal is $6. Meals are available for delivery for an additional 50 cents per meal, without the beverage.
OHS students in the Culinary Entrepreneurial Opportunities class are involved in all aspects of operating the café. Reservations are required. To make a reservation, call 683-4444, ext. 1212 or email email@example.com. All proceeds support the program.
