Budget public hearing set for Tuesday

OTTUMWA — A public hearing to amend the Wapello County budget for the current fiscal year is set for next week.

The hearing will be during the Wapello County Board of Supervisors meeting.

Also on Tuesday, the board will consider a request to hire two new correctional officers for the sheriff’s department.

The meeting is set for 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in the third-floord board room at the courthouse. The meeting is open to the public.
