Preschool registrations still being accepted

Ottumwa Courier

---- — OTTUMWA—Registrations for free preschool are still being accepted in the Ottumwa Community School District.

Parents with children who will be 4 years old on or before Sept. 15 are eligible to attend. Students can’t be 5 years old prior to Sept. 15. All students will attend classes at the McCarroll Early Childhood Center either in the morning or afternoon. Immunizations must be up-to-date and physicals are not required.

A pilot wrap-around program is being offered for parents seeking daycare in conjunction with preschool. Students will attend the morning preschool session and then daycare until 4 p.m. This is a fee-based program.

For more information, call Stacie at Agassiz Elementary at 684-7179 or stop by and pick up a registration packet. Packets are also available online at ottumwaschools.com by clicking on "programs."
