OTTUMWA — A new school administrator with more than 20 years of elementary experience will lead an Ottumwa elementary school next year.
Sarah Johnson has been hired, a move that brings her to Ottumwa from Marshalltown. Johnson is currently an elementary principal in Marshalltown, where she has served as principal since 2001. Prior to that, she spent 10 years as an elementary teacher in three other districts.
NOTE: The original version of this story indicated Johnson was hired to act as principal at Eisenhower Elementary School. Details on which principals are assigned to which schools for the 2013-2014 academic year have not yet been finalized.
