OTTUMWA — The South Ottumwa Savings Bank’s Sand in the City event will take place in the Bridge View Center parking lot this weekend with several activities planned. The following is a schedule of events.

Today

• Master sculptors will be creating an exhibition sculpture for the public, Central Park, all day; In association with South Ottumwa Savings Bank’s Live after 5.

Saturday

• Team competition begins at 9am

• 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Children’s games and crafts in Bridge View Center Lobby (incl. cookie decorating, minnow races, Jumping Jims, origami puppets, ladder ball, plus much much more)

• 9 a.m., Children’s Creative Play area(for kids grades 1-6) with a sand area for kids to play in all day

• Concessions all day

• DJ service provided by Jeff Leonard all day

Sunday

• 1-4 p.m. Team Appreciation Day – Presented by Ottumwa Radio

-The band “Harvest” performing from 1-3:30 p.m.
