OCCP’s ‘Pied Piper’ to be performed Aug. 29-31 at BVC
OTTUMWA — Cast and crew have been named for the Ottumwa Community Children’s Playhouse (OCCP) production of “The Pied Piper.”
The play will be performed at 7 p.m. Aug. 29 and 30 and 2 p.m. Aug. 31 at Bridge View Center theater.
Tickets are $5 for children and $8 for adults and available from cast members who are participating in a ticket sales contest. Tickets also will be sold at the door.
“Pied Piper” is the story of what happens when the Pied Piper disposes of the rats that are taking over Hamelin Town. When the townsfolk do not pay the Pied Piper for his services, he leads all the children from town, which then leads the townsfolk to realize their error.
