Published October 30, 2009 11:00 am - Southeast Iowa Band plans free concert Nov. 8 MT. PLEASANT — The Southeast Iowa Band will present a free concert at 3 p.m. Nov. 8 in the Iowa Wesleyan College Chapel Auditorium.
The band is directed by Michael Hart, doctoral candidate in wind band conducting at the University of Iowa. The concert program will include “Celebrations” by John Zdecklik, “Daydream” by Timothy Mahr, “Handel in the Strand” by Percy Grainger, “Be Thou My Vision” by David Gillingham and “First Suite in Eb” by Gustav Holst.
