Prepare to spend ‘One Night with the King’ on Farifield stage

FAIRFIELD — The King is coming to the Center, the Sondheim Center that is. “One Night with the King” will showcase the greatest moments of Elvis’ musical and acting career at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 26 through a live musical production on the Sondheim Center stage.

The show features a full band, highlighting Elvis’ early career as he broke into the business at Sun Records, his introduction to the nation on the biggest television shows of the times, through the greatest musical moments of the King of Rock and Roll. From the gold lamé jackets to the rhinestone-studded jumpsuit of Las Vegas and everything in between, “One Night with the King” has it all.

The show stars Brandon Bennett, named the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Champion by Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc. Branson has starred in “The Elvis Story” and has most recently performed with the Chicago cast of the Broadway and international hit musical, “Million Dollar Quartet.”

There’s more! “Be the King” with our Elvis look-alike contest before the show, starting at 6 p.m. Dress to impress and show off your moves for a chance to win our prize package of two Artist Series 2012-13 tickets and a bottle of Cedar Valley wine.

One Night with the King is part of the 2012-13 Sondheim Artist Series. Tickets are $32 for Zone 1, $28 for Zone 2, $23 for Zone 3 and youth tickets are $12 and available at the Fairfield Arts and Convention Center Ticket Office, 641-472-2787 and www.FairfieldACC.com.
