The Bullriders of America 2012 Finals will land in town for two performances this weekend. This will be the second year Bullriders of America will have their finals at the Bridge View Center.
Tonight and Saturday night, Bridge View will host the top riders in the Midwest. Bullriders of America sanctioned events leading up to these finals are held in Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Kansas, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Michigan. Each year, bull riders compete in front of roughly 120,000 fans for more than $225,000 in prize money at more than 60 events throughout the Midwest. Competition is strong at the end of the year, and points will be close to determine the Bullriders of America Finals champion.
Tickets sold out last year for the Saturday night event, so plan to purchase tickets early. Tickets to Saturday night will include admission to the awards ceremony in the theater following the event. Awards will be given out for 2012 Rookie of the Year, 2012 Finals Champion and 2012 Year End Champion.
Competition literally kicks off at 7:30 p.m. each night with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. Following the show both nights, the bull riders will be available for autograph signing in the arena.
This year, all seating will be reserved. Premium seating is $20 in advance and $25 day of show. Reserved seating is $16 in advance and $19 day of the show. This year, a special pack of four reserved tickets is being offered for $50 in advance only. Tickets are available at the Bridge View Center Box Office, online at ticketmaster.com or charge by phone at 800-745-3000.
