OTTUMWA — After a two-year absence from the stage at the Bridge View Center, Diana Upton-Hill will return with her touring holiday production “Christmas Just for You” at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 21.

“We used to do a holiday spectacular complete with dancers and over-the-top production numbers. Now we are focused more on the music and more on friendships and collaborations with the wonderful family of musicians we work with. This concert is meant to be more intimate, like a Christmas Eve gathering at my home. Great music Great memories,” Upton-Hill said.

Staying with the theme of musical family, Upton-Hill’s concert will be co-hosted by her husband and music director/singer/pianist, Justin Hill.

A highlight of past concerts has been the Pop Orchestra, which will also return this year. The Pop Orchestra is comprised of some of the best instrumental talent in the Midwest and will be led by modern violin diva, Carol Carlson. Carlson is an avid performer and recording artist in her own right, having performed nationally as part of Duo Mendota and as a soloist/collaborator with several modern dance companies.

Also featured this year is emerging Nashville artist, Mitch Goudy. At age 18, Goudy has already opened for top acts around the country, including Joe Nichols and Hunter Hayes, and is currently writing with industry legends for his first full-length album to be released in early 2013.

Tickets are $10 and available in person at the Bridge View Center box office, online at or by calling 800-745-3000.
