Ottumwa Courier

OTTUMWA — The Ottumwa Community Children’s Playhouse to present “The Elves and The Shoemaker” Dec. 7-9 at the Bridge View Center.

This is the classic story of a shoemaker suffering through the hardships of war and loss who is given new hope when a young refugee enters his life. They struggle to make shoes, but the young refugee is constantly making mistakes. A group of elves is watching over the young boy, however, and use their magic to make shoes.
