Hoch, Roberts to play in Principal Charity Classic

— WEST DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — Scott Hoch and Loren Roberts have committed to play in the Principal Charity Classic at Glen Oaks Country Club in West Des Moines.
Hoch ranks second in 2008 Champions Tour money with more than $920,000. He has three career Champions Tour victories, including back-to-back wins in February at the Allianz Championship and ACE Group Classic.
Hoch will be making his first appearance at the Principal Charity Classic.
Roberts is ninth in Champions Tour earnings. He finished second on the money list in 2007 with more than $2 million.
The Principal Charity Classic is May 28 through June 1.
Other senior golfers expected are Denis Watson, Nick Price, Jim Thorpe, D.A. Weibring and defending champion Jay Haas.
