Help raise money for fire department

— We are proud to be involved in a committee sponsoring the Fire and Ice fundraiser for the Ottumwa Fire Department. This great event will be held on May 28 from 4-8 p.m. at the northside fire station.
We, as Evans students, are inviting everybody to come out and enjoy an ice cream social with family and friends. The cost is $3 per person or $5 for two people. Tours of the fire station are included and you can meet the ones who courageously serve our community. It will be an exciting experience for all.
This ice cream social will raise money for the fire department. They will use the money for several generous services. As you may or may not know, they will install smoke detectors, replace batteries and paint house numbers on your home; all for free. The goal of the committee is to promote this free program by the fire department.
We hope to see everyone on May 28 at the fun and exciting Fire and Ice ice cream social.
