Remembering a great American

May I express my feeling in regard to another true American?
My brother, Kenneth E. Miller, was a survivor in World War II era.
He served three years and eight months — 37 months in the Pacific — served also on Fiji Islands, Hebrides, Bougainville, Guadacanal, Admiralty Islands and Luzon — took part in the invasion of the Philippines.
At the time of his discharge he was a staff sergeant and wears three battle stars, a Spearhead, a Silver Star, a good conduct medal and the Infantryman’s combat badge.
This article was in the Ottumwa Courier after he returned home, so I saved it.
I had three brothers who were drafted to serve their country — one failed his physical.
All deceased now.
A proud sister
