Disappointed with the Mid-Iowa Council

— As a parent, I am very disappointed with the Mid-Iowa Council.
We were recently informed that our summer camp would be moved from Camp Wapello to Camp Mitigwa due to the DNR draining the lake.
Our troop, being full of younger boys, didn’t feel that we could attend summer camp that far away. So, we asked for a refund of our camp money which they returned minus a $25 fee off the top.
I believe this is wrong of them because we were not the ones who broke the agreement to attend Camp Wapello; they did. We were still willing to attend regardless of the draining of the lake.
