Many good people are supporting McCain-Palin because they believe that taxes would be lower under a Republican Administration. For large corporations and those individuals making more than $250,000 per year, this might be true, but for the vast majority it would not.

The big question is — who is going to pay the bill? We all want and require services that can only be provided by local, state and federal government. We are currently fighting two wars. We have just had a huge bailout of the financial industry. Our national debt and the interest on that debt are both so large that they are almost beyond comprehension.

If we care about our children, grandchildren and future generations, we must meet our financial responsibilities as we live our lives.

If Obama-Biden are elected, the middle class will pay lower taxes; large corporations, the oil industry, and the very wealthy will pay higher taxes; and health care will be more affordable. Obama is promoting job growth, and without jobs we will continue on our current downward spiral.

Vote for Obama-Biden for our future and the future of our country.
