Who do you call in case of an aggressive dog?

Just want to comment on the dog park. What a great idea. Nice to watch our lil’ furry friends run and play. I have read the rules on front of the fence.

1. City and rabies tags required.

2. Two dogs per handler; must be 16 of age.

3. Dogs in heat or aggressive Not Allowed.

4. City not responsible for accidents that occur at dog park.

Which is understandable in a doggie park.

My question is who do you call in case of an aggressive dog? My friend had an incident the other day. As he took his Newfoundland to the park, his dog was attacked by a group of three dogs; two were huskies and the third was an Australian shepherd.

It’s a shame you would have to endure that when rules are posted. Will it get to the point where we need a guard at the park so this does not happen? Not to mention my friend has his two-year-old daughter when he takes the dog. Will it get to the point where one bad incident will close the park? We all must be responsible for our pets.

So, to this person — please train your animals or stay at home.
