Hate crimes law unjust and unconstitutional

America was founded on many liberties, and equal justice under the law is one of them. Yet, thanks to the federal government, we now have unequal justice through the Matthew Sheperd “hate crimes” law.

This law potentially violates the First and Fifth amendments. Plus, it definitely violates the 14th amendment by giving special protection to certain groups not given to all. Through this law, we may see harassment, intimidation, persecution and prosecution of anyone who disagrees with the unnatural lifestyle. Legalized hate in the name of so-called “justice.”

Why did the president and Congress break their oath of office by passing such an unjust and unconstitutional law? They should be held accountable.
