Theodore Roosevelt, believed, as I do, that every person needs to be accepted on their own merit and do what is necessary for the good of all. Trusts and cronyism were supposed to be a thing of the past. Roosevelt’s reforms are gone and replaced by Social Justice — a concept in where there is no reform but the “Haves” need to share with the “Have Nots” because they are entitled under “Social Justice.” Are we ever going to unite under the “Common Good” ever again? Our elected officials are here to serve us, not the other way around. Government plays a role in our lives but is not our lives.
