This letter is for our streets director. I have lived on East Plum Street for 40 years, and there has been nothing done to fix it. A few years ago, a city vehicle went through part of the street — thank God he wasn’t hurt.
I have asked our streets director to come look at our street but haven’t gotten any response from him. My question to you, Mr. Street Director, is how can you blacktop alleys and rock them, but you can’t rock our alley or do anything to fix the street when it is falling apart, even the place that was fixed a few years ago.
Also, I bet that if it was the street that you live on and it was cracking and falling apart, you would have it fixed in no time at all.
