Ham radio operator disgusted by damage

OTTUMWA — I live in Ottumwa and am a ham radio operator. The antennas and things that you have broken and stolen are covered by the federal government. If I am tearing up your TV or anything, then either knock on the door and let me know or leave things alone. This can cost you $5,000 per incident and/or up to $3,000 per day and up to or including five years in federal prison. I am disabled, and the only enjoyment I get is from my radios. The next time there is an emergency, you might be glad I have my radios. I have installed cameras!
