Support Kent for county recorder

Lisa Kent is running for Wapello County Recorder. She has been the deputy recorder for the past 10 1/2 years. She lives in Agency with her husband, Brian, and two sons. She is active in the Agency community and Cardinal schools.

She is running for recorder because she loves working in the recorder’s office. She enjoys working with the public. Interacting with the public on a daily basis can sometimes be challenging. Lisa meets those challenges in a professional and courteous manner. She will go above and beyond to find the answer to any question asked of her. She is currently doing the day-to-day work of the recorder as well as her duties as deputy recorder.

Her philosophy as deputy recorder has always been that everyone who walks through the recorder’s office is her boss. As taxpayers, they expect her to be able to perform her job in a professional and courteous manner. Being an elected office, this holds especially true for the position of recorder. She feels that every person who comes into the office deserves the same service, period. She is the only candidate with experience in the recorder’s office. The transition from deputy recorder to recorder would be smooth for her as she is already performing the day-to-day duties of the recorder.

People will vote for candidates based on many different factors. Some will vote because they know a particular person. Still others will vote because they have had a good or bad experience with one or more of the candidates. When you go to the polls on July 9, please look at all the candidates and their qualifications and cast your vote for Lisa Kent for Wapello County Recorder.
