The local TV station, KTVO, has been running a public service ad for safe driving — and that's a good thing. What is annoying about this ad is that it shows two police officers, one a state patrol and one I think a sheriff, saying that the odds of a driver being involved in a crash are nearly 100 percent. Now it doesn't take a genius to know that this is not correct. The station should either stop running this erroneous ad or correct it to reflect the actual odds of being involved in an accident. Nowhere near 100 percent.
