Being gay is a choice

Ottumwa Courier

---- — "While somebody cannot choose to be gay, you certainly can choose to be ignorant," Iowa Sen. McCoy (Ottumwa Courier 4-18-13)

Somebody dosen't choose to be gay? Really? Consider identical twins. They share the same genetic traits and therefore look the same. If one twin is female with blonde hair and blue eyes, then her twin will also be female with blonde hair and blue eyes. This will be the case 100 percent of the time. Now if there was a biological factor for sodomy, such as the so-called "gay gene," it would stand to reason that if one twin was gay, then his or her twin would also be gay. This too would occur 100 percent of the time, not 50 percent or less as it turns out to be. Born gay is a myth as identical twins prove, and therefore it is a lifestyle choice.

It is amazing how that in this alleged age of enlightenment some people choose to be so ignorant about the laws of nature.
