On Dec. 18, I had been to Walmart and as always, I stopped by the Walmart gas station to fill my car up. I got out, pumped gas and I went to get in the car. I locked my keys in!
So I had no choice but go see if the cashier could help me. And lo and behold, there in front of me was my gardian angel. She had beautiful long red hair and a dazzling smile. Her name is Kadie Conrad.
I had told her that I had locked my key in my car and asked if she could help me. Since I'm hard of hearing, she had made a couple of phone calls. A very good friend of my son, Robbie Hamman, came to the rescue. Thank you Robbie.
I was thirsty, and Kadie offered me a bottle water and wouldn't let me pay for it. While waiting for Robbie to arrive, she kept me company and we visited like old friends.
So the next time you go to the Walmart gas station, you look for a beautiful young lady with long red hair and a great smile … that's Kadie. Kadie, thank you, so much for being so nice and helpful to me. I wish you and your family a very blessed New Year!
