First baby of 2014 at Van Buren County Hospital

---- — KEOSAUQUA — Van Buren County Hospital's New Year's baby has arrived.

Brooklynn Lyna Debner was delivered by Dr. Gary Lee on Monday, Jan. 13, 2014, at 9:38 a.m., with Dr. Dana Brecount as her doctor. Brooklynn weighed 7 pounds 4 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long.

Her parents are Brad and Shantell Debner. Brooklynn joins big brothers Joseph and Aden. Aden was VBCH’s New Year’s Baby in 2011. Grandparents are Gary and JD Debner of Keosauqua and Paul and Debbie Media of Ninilchik, Alaska.

The Debner family received a gift basket with items donated by Barker Specialty Products by Hill Phoenix, Bonaparte Retreat, Boyd Grocery, Community First Bank, Dollar Plus, Keo 24/7 Fun Fitness Center, Libertyville Savings Bank, Van Buren County Hospital Auxiliary, Van Buren Leader Record, Van Buren County Register, Wasko Hardware and Van Buren County Hospital and Clinics.
