Saturday's 36th annual Cornbelt Cow-Calf Conference at Bridge View Center was the first one for Davis County residents Matt and Becky Strunk and her daughter, Kierstin Martin. They paused near a display about beef production in Iowa. The Strunks have a 200-head cow-calf operation and raise their own "special cattle" by crossing Tarentaise cows with Angus bulls.
