Investigators seek owner of stolen items

OTTUMWA — Wapello County Sheriff’s Deputies are seeking the owner of several items they believe are stolen.

Deputies in Davis and Wapello counties have investigated multiple burglaries from the evening of June 7 to the morning hours the next day. They have enough information to file some charges, but believe more are possible if the owner of the stolen goods comes forward.

The items were stolen from south-central Wapello County or north-Central Davis County. Anyone with information is asked to call the Wapello County Sheriff’s Department at (641) 684-4350.
