Besides exhibits, it is also a good time to enjoy some fair food.

Thompson said they also have one of the best food concessions of any of the fairs around.

“The sheep, pork and beef producers have food stands and then the Izaac Walton League has a food stand. We have really good reasonably priced food at our fair,” she said.

This year’s theme is “Ag is our Bag,” Thompson said. “It’s definitely a family-filled event.”
