Police make 10th arrest in drug operation

OTTUMWA - Police have confirmed that there has been a 10th arrest in the huge drug sweeps that took place early Friday morning.
Police Chief Jim Clark said the arrest was made Friday night. David Horvath, 39, Ottumwa was arrested at his home on South Lillian Street. Horvath was a target of the initial raids, but was not found.
"He did come back last night and we did arrest him last night," Clark said.
Horvath is charged with conspiracy to distribute cocaine, as are the nine who were previously arrested. All charges are pending in federal court.
The investigation also shut down two Ottumwa businesses, the Plowboy and The Dugout.. The raids involved 15 different law enforcement agencies and 200 officers.
