Moravia man charged in drugs for sex swap

MORAVIA — A Moravia man is facing charges after he allegedly traded marijuana for sex with an underage girl.

Adam Joseph Clark, 21, is charged with distribution of a controlled substance to a person under age 18 and sexual abuse. Both are felonies.

The Appanoose County Sheriff’s Department says the incident took place in August, when the girl was 14, but was only reported on Oct. 21. They arrested Clark following an investigation.

Clark was released from custody after posting a $35,000 bond. He could face up to 35 years in prison if convicted on all charges.
