OTTUMWA — The first baby born at Ottumwa Regional Health Center in 2014 is a healthy little boy.
At 12:35 p.m. on Wednesday, Nsri Mulugeta Turuneh entered the world as the official Ottumwa New Year's baby. At 19 1/2 inches long and weighing 7 pounds and 8 ounces, he is a pretty average-sized baby and was said to be a very healthy baby boy.
His parents requested to remain anonymous and asked that the Courier not provide a picture of Nsri with this article.
