Ottumwa man arrested for meth distribution

---- — OTTUMWA - An Ottumwa man was arrested Friday and charged with delivery of meth.

At approximately noon Friday, officers from the Ottumwa Police Department, Iowa Department of Public Safety Division of Narcotics Enforcement, US Drug Enforcement Administration and the Southeast Iowa Inter-Agency Drug Task Force arrested Lening Lizama, 23, of 17167 Bluegrass Road, Ottumwa.

Lizama was arrested in the 200 block of North Sheridan Avenue and charged with three counts of delivery of a less than five grams of meth, a Class “C” Felony, and delivery of more than five grams of meth, a Class “B” Felony.

Officers then conducted a consent search of his home on Bluegrass Road. As a result of the search, officers located items consistent with the distribution of controlled substances.
