Four arrested in meth case

Search warrants executed last week at two rural Hedrick residences

HEDRICK — Four rural Hedrick residents have been arrested and charged with making meth.

Last week, officers from the Wapello County Sheriff’s Department, Iowa State Patrol Tactical Team, U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement and the Southeast Iowa Inter-Agency Drug Task Force executed two search warrants at two separate residences in rural Hedrick — one in Wapello County, the other in Keokuk County.

The warrants were executed at the two locations where officials subsequently discovered items consistent with the manufacture of methamphetamine were seized.

As a result of the investigation, the four people arrested were charged with conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, which is a Class B felony, including:

Wesley Allen Muntz, 33; Heather Marie Muntz, 31; Ray Allan Conrad, 52; and Amy Jeananne Beletti, 43.
