---- — OTTUMWA — Contracts will lead the agenda when the Wapello County Supervisors meet at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Wapello County Courthouse.
Wapello County Supervisor Steve Siegel said Friday that the board will most likely approve the contract with Southern Iowa Mental Health Center and the Department of Human Services for children's mental health waivers.
"By code we have to supply house and supplies, and we do that when they're working in and for the county," Siegel said. "The state also leases space for one individual who covers a larger area than just Wapello County. There's one desk, and we do have a lease agreement."
In other business, the board members will discuss a memo of understanding with Ottumwa Police Department for the Justice Assistance Grant.
"We've already approved that," Siegel said, adding that the memo included $2,000 for the county sheriff's purchases of ammunition for training.
The supervisors will also discuss a 28E Agreement between the city of Oskaloosa and Wapello County during RAGBRAI.
