FAIRFIELD — Three men have been arrested in Fairfield following a robbery that resulted in one man being hospitalized for stab wounds.
According to a Fairfield Police Department news release, the Jefferson County Dispatch received a call at around 6:50 p.m. Saturday reporting a man had been stabbed at 901 W. Grimes Ave. in Fairfield.
After an investigation conducted by FPD, it was determined that the victim, Darren Goodwin, 24, was pulled into an apartment at the residence and was assaulted, stabbed and robbed. He was then transported to the Jefferson County Health Center Emergency Room once officers arrived to the scene, and all of his injuries were non-life threatening, according to the FPD press release.
Officers then took Dustin Roll, 24; Dawn Dunn, 38; and Brett Hedblade, 44, into custody following the investigation. All three men are being charged with willful injury, a Class D Felony, and first-degree robbery, a Class B Felony. Dunn was also charged with criminal mischief.
The suspects remain in custody, and a bond has not yet been set.
