Vacating an easement by the four-lane highway tops the agenda for the Wapello County Board of Supervisors when they meet at next week.
Wapello County Supervisor Greg Kenning said Friday that the board has been working a while on the project, which is by the four-lane highway.
“Vacating the easement would allow one person more acreage for cattle,” he said. “The land is oddly constructed, landlocked and gridlocked by the highway.”
The board will discuss the matter further when the members meet at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in the third-floor boardroom in the Wapello County Courthouse.
