Wedding under the wing

---- — BLAKESBURG — You don't usually go to a fly-in to attend a wedding, but that's exactly what happened this weekend.

David Mars of Jackson, Miss., and Anne Rowles of Pocahontas, Miss., were married Friday evening at Antique Airfield with Jim Metheny of rural Drakesville officiating.

The bit of blue visible beneath the nose of his yellow Piper Cub is the honeymoon suite, a blue round top tent. He has been attending the Antique Airplane Association/Airpower Museum fly-in since the 1980s. The fly-in is a new experience for the new bride.
