CANTRIL — One person has been killed in what authorities say was a forklift accident.
The Van Buren County Sheriff's Department is not releasing the victim's name, but says the accident took place at about 5 p.m. Monday at Cantril Feed & Grain. An emergency call from the business sought an ambulance, which was dispatched.
The victim, a 28-year-old male, was transported to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics by air. He died there of his injuries.

On June 24, 2013 at approximately 5:00PM the Van Buren Co. Sheriff's Office recieved a 911 call requesting an ambulance for a fork lift accident at Cantril Feed & Grain located in Cantril, Iowa. The Van Buren Co. Ambulance and Cantril first responders were dispatched and responded to the scene. The fork lift driver, a 28 year old male was transported by life flight to the University of Iowa Hospital where he later died of his injuries. The victim's name is not being released at this time.
