Arrest made in shooting incident

OTTUMWA — Two Ottumwa residents now face charges they fired shots into a residence south of town late last year.

On November 14, 2012 the Wapello County Sheriff's office received a call about shots being fired into a residence at 11882 55th Street, south of Ottumwa. The responding deputies found a bullet hole in the house and, while there, received a second report at 12443 55th Street. That home also had a bullet hole.

A week later, authorities arrested a 17-year-old in connection with the case.

Now, the department says Zachary Lee Davidson, 19, Ottumwa, was arrested on charges of intimidation with a dangerous weapon. He was released from the Wapello County Jail aftr posting bond.
