Four charged for manufacturing meth in Udell

UDELL — Four Udell residents face multiple charges after search warrants yielded evidence of drug manufacturing.

On Tuesday morning, the Appanoose County Sheriff’s Office, members of the South Central Iowa Drug Task Force, Centerville Police Department, Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement and Iowa State Patrol served four narcotic search warrants in the town of Udell.

Search warrants were served at the residence of Jodi Ann Sindt, 403 Main St.; the residence of Cliff Lowe at Fourth and School streets; the residence of Nunzio Lloyd at 411 Wall St.; and a garage at Fifth and Main streets.

During the investigation, evidence conducive of the manufacturing of more than five grams of methamphetamine was found in the garage at Fifth and Main streets.

As a result of the investigation the following individuals were arrested and charged:

• Cliff Allen Lowe, 40, was charged with conspiracy to manufacture more than five grams of methamphetamine, a Class B felony; possession of a firearm by felon, a Class D felony; possession of a precursor with intent to manufacture methamphetamine, a Class D felony; and ongoing criminal conduct, a Class B felony.

• Jodi Ann Sindt, 49, charged with conspiracy to manufacture more than five grams of methamphetamine, a Class B felony; and ongoing criminal conduct, a Class B felony.

• Nunzio V. Lloyd, 29, charged with conspiracy to manufacture more than five grams of methamphetamine, a Class B felony; and ongoing criminal conduct, a Class B felony.

• Marilyn M. Lloyd, 28, charged with conspiracy to manufacture more than five grams of methamphetamine, a Class B felony.

All four are being held in the custody of the Appanoose County Sheriff awaiting appearance and bond by a magistrate.
